DescriptionNow Everyone Get The F%$# Out! (often shortened to F%$# Out) is a fast-paced, screw-your-friends-over party game. You and your fellow players are college students trying to study for a final, but there's a huge dorm hall party happening where you live. The only way to get the partiers out and study is to make the other player's rooms more fun than yours, so the partiers will leave your room for theirs. Take control of the party and get everyone the F%$# Out!
About The GameHow To Play
Each player is a college student trying to study for a final. They each start with a dice set to 4, representing the four drunk partiers in their dorm room who refuse to leave. In order to move these Persons around, players can play up to two cards from their five card hand a turn. The card types in the game are Actions, Instant Actions, and Items. Actions have an effect that change the game state, like moving Persons or drawing cards, then are discarded. Instant Actions can be played at any time, and can be used to counter or affect played cards. Items are placed in a player's room, the area in front of each player. All Items have a Fun rating from 1 to 5. Whichever player has the most Fun in their room is the Party Animal, and gains a Person after each turn. The lowest Fun player is the Nerd, and loses a Person after each turn. Whichever player successfully gets to zero Persons first wins. The F%$# Out page has the rules help image and rules PDF for viewing. Why is it Fun?
Player Sabotage One of the most entertaining things in competitive games is directly screwing over your friends, and this game is all about that concept. In order to win you have to make the other players lose, and small slights can evolve into complete rivalries as a game goes on. Alliances can form when someone gets too close to winning, but are just one backstab away from turning into complete chaos. Some cards require assisting another player to get a bonus yourself, and these choices can get you favors or grudges by the other players. With everyone trying to clamor to victory, a tried and true way to achieve your goals is by screwing your friends over as much as you possibly can. Variety and Replayability Each play of F%$# Out is different. The 120 card deck is pretty large for a 15-20 minute game, meaning that most games won't see every card. All 50 Items are unique, so there's plenty of crazy combinations that players can place in each other's Rooms. The Actions all have different effects as well, both on the game and on each other, creating plenty of different strategies as the tides of the game change. Easy to Learn and Teach Even with the many options for strategies and card interactions, the core mechanics and gameplay of the game are very easy to learn and teach to others. It was created with non-gamers and drinking/smoking players in mind, and was also tested on these audiences. Card elements and mechanics are clearly different from one another, and each game comes with Rules Help cards for new or intoxicated players to double check the basic rules of play. Always Something To Do Unlike many other turn based games, something is always happening to keep players guessing, even if it's not their turn. Instant Actions allow any player to throw something down at any time, giving them the chance to be active off-turn. Even without Instant Actions, the changing Person counts, both from Actions and from players being Nerd and Party Animal, means that players need to stay on top of things off-turn so a player doesn't quietly slide to victory. College Theme All of the mechanics and concepts of the game are wrapped up in a cohesive and entertaining theme: wild college parties. What other game lets you put a Hookah, Dinosaur, and Lone Dildo in someone's room and have it be the most wild event of the night? It's not just Items that bring the amusement of the theme to the game either: you can destroy things with Party Fouls, repeat what was just done with Blackout Talk, or play all your cards with an awesome High-dea. Every card played tells the crazy and hilarious story of a dorm party gone off the rails. Origin Story
The name, and the entire game concept, is based on a true story during creator Patrick Roughan's college years. Patrick was the jerk housemate who threw a house party while his roommate had a final to study for. In order to break up the party, his roommate shouted "Now everyone get the F%$# OUT!" The party quickly dispersed, but Patrick was struck with inspiration. He tried to explain that what just happened was totally game material, but his friends replied with “Dude, you’re drunk and stupid.” Ignoring those comments, Patrick made a prototype game, but quickly forgot about it. Years later, in the spring of 2015, he found the original prototype. Still believing the game had something great to it, he resumed development. Now, years after that inspiring night, he has created a full game, still retaining the inspirational quote as its title. |
